After recently invited to join Joe Cravens new group Joe Cravens Do-It-Yourselfers,
Sid has been on the road with Craven doing shows in surrounding states.
Inspired by Joe to play more acoustic string music, Sid has formed an offshoot
of Crazygrass featuring all acoustic string players!
This group will perform traditional bluegrass and not so traditional Newgrass...
The all acoustic "new Old Time" take-off of Crazygrass, the Crazygrass String Band (or CGSB) features the pioneering "Body Drums"
worn by Dave Breed, the Nashville super star fiddling of Melissa Copenhaver and Sid Walker. Together they play the more up beat and bluegrass songs in the band, and are a welcome event at bluegrass festivals everywhere! |
